Your 'day to day'You will be employed in Turkey under Philip Morris Travel Retail Limited(PMTR). PMTR operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc.

You will support business expansion and innovation for PMI Duty Free (PMIDF) business through in-depth analysis of potential growth opportunities together with effective portfolio and commercial planning of initiatives to ensure timely and effective execution.


This is achieved through:
1)

Business Analysisa. Responsible for Competition analysis (Channel / Account based Investments, Organization Set-Up, Portfolio Positioning & Pricing Activities) b. Responsible for Consumer trend analysis c. Responsible for Channel analysis (Overall channel based segment / portfolio trends within different geographiesd. Analysis of total channel business value and contribution of PMIDF & other Trade Marketing owners)e.

Responsible for Industry analysis (Multi-category Trends Follow Up, Account Based overall Financials / P&L / Performance analysis, follow-up activities of regional / global duty-free associations, Follow up of regulatory developments etc.).

2) Portfolio Planning:
a.

Collects and aggregates portfolio initiatives and supports in the consolidation as part of an integral Portfolio Plan based on the overall annual volume, share of market and profitability objectives.b.

On limited cases and with the approval of Headquarter Strategy & Portfolio, plan for new local portfolio projects such as limited pack editions, line extensions, etc.c.

Assist Customer Development for location based segment assessment (i.e. Price, Taste, Diameter, etc.) within the category and definition of local and tactical portfolio initiatives.d. Build a project plan by location including retro planning for portfolio activities. Report post-launch evaluation3)

Commercial Planning:
a. Proposes a Calendar of Commercial initiatives for the BU based on PMIDF's global commercial calendar and BU business priorities.b. Monitors the net operating revenue drivers (volume, price, mix effects) and the progress of trade terms for key accountsc. Performs post activity and return on investment assessmentsd. Budget management in co-operation with local partners and HQe.

Supports Commercial Planning Head:
i.

In building an activity calendar by location applying company's commercial initiatives to local In building strategy for local needs; defining scope and requirements for local commercial In the creation of a case for every commercial initiative.f.

Follow up and ensure accurate closing of budget, provide required information to Finance for accrual process.4) Project Managementa. Training BU teams on project management methodologies to ensure projects are led according to project management principles and practices. Ensuring accurate use of project management tools and methodologies.b. Project fulfillment tracking, reporting and making recommendations to Head of Commercial Planning.

Who we're looking for:

University degree in quantitative fields:
STEM/ Business Analytics degree preferred

  • 5~10 years of experience of combined experience in Business Development and Commercial roles at consulting or FMCG multinational company
  • Proficiency in English is a must
  • Good business acumen, critical thinking, financial savvy, project management are key.
  • Proven understanding of key marketing and commercial competencies like activity resource planning, and portfolio/product knowledge.
  • Ability to work with multiple cross-function team members and meet tight schedules in sophisticated situations
