The main responsibility of the role is to design, analyze, and lead the implementation of solutions, collaborating with stakeholders regarding all requirements for the assigned projects within Fixed IT Solutions, and the system architecture for a particular platform/business capability/user journey, according to the overall technical vision and target architecture.

  1. Analyze technology/business environment & requirements for the assigned projects.
  2. Refine and review business requirements, influencing them to ensure the most effective use of IT resources during scoping, defining, and designing end-to-end solutions.
  3. Lead and contribute to solutions creation and handshake solutions with stakeholders.
  4. Provide cost/effort estimates for solutions.
  5. Prepare scoping & technical solution design documents by following the detailed procedures.
  6. Assess the feasibility and risks of projects.
  7. Support user acceptance testing.
  8. Contribute to the coordination of third parties, such as vendors, outsourced partners, or parent companies, to ensure the delivery of solutions across domains and technologies remains aligned.
  9. Act as Solution Designer or Scrum Master of an Agile team, responsible for vendor employees, especially for development and testing.
  10. Plan and coordinate the activities of the design phase, managing priorities and time schedules.
  11. Coordinate with other Vodafone units and vendors to design the solutions in line with customer expectations.
  12. Ensure that the designed solution adheres to customer requirements and provide input to Profit and Loss, negotiating costs and activity planning with third parties.
Who you are
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a similar discipline.
  2. Good command of English.
  3. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Good presentation, relationship, and communication skills.
  5. Strong understanding of the software development process.
  6. Good understanding of Fixed Broadband Services and Products.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  8. Agile/Scrum understanding.
  9. DevOps skills.
  10. Experience with microservices and cloud-native applications.
  11. Knowledge and experience of operating systems, databases, and network components.
