Regional Account Manager – Turkey
Description:
At Tektronix, we believe fostering strong relationships with our customers is essential to driving innovation and success. As a representative of our company in Turkey, you will be responsible for strategically developing the Tektronix Business in the key accounts, particularly in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D), Research & Automotive sector.
This role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach, with the ability to map accounts, connect our product offerings with customer needs, and build long-term relationships at all levels—from end users to top management.
You will also manage our distribution channels and oversee the broader geographical market, aligning with the company's strategic goals.
You will need a balanced mix of strategic thinking and hands-on sales execution to address the geo market. Spending >70% of your time in the field, you will actively prospect new business opportunities, grow market share, and help drive Tektronix/Keithley/Elektro Automatik's success in Turkey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop relationships with key Aerospace, Defense, Research accounts & Automotive ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Work autonomously as a representative in Turkey with strong decision-making abilities, aligned with the management, with the support of the companies in EMEA and US.
- Manage and grow the geographical market in Turkey, focusing on acquiring new customers and growing market share in line with Tektronix strategic goals with a strong prospection mindset.
- Serve as the main point of contact for distributors, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment to maximize growth opportunities and drive partners pro-actively.
- Identify customer needs and map them to our product solutions, working closely with Application Engineers to technically qualify opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits and spend most of your time (>70%) engaging with clients in person.
- Gain market share by developing a strategic sales mindset, fostering customer loyalty, and providing tailored product solutions.
- Using Sales Navigator, AI's and any other tools helping to find new customers and optimize your time.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including other Accounts Managers from other regions, Application Engineers, Product Line and Marketing, to leverage resources effectively and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Build a robust sales pipeline and contribute to accurate forecasting.
- Maintain detailed customer data and activities using our CRM tool.
- Represent Tektronix in line with our values of ethics, transparency, and customer obsession.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a similar technical field.
- Several years of successful sales experience, particularly in high-tech sectors like Aerospace, Defense, and Research, is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of Test & Measurement Equipment and the ability to translate technical product details into compelling customer solutions.
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing deals in a competitive environment, with the ability to manage both key accounts and distributors.
- Self-motivated, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with customers at all levels.
- Based in Ankara, with readiness to travel extensively across Turkey.
- Fluency in English and Turkish is required.
