Qualifications

  • Native or full professional proficiency in Arabic and English; Turkish as a native language is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in business development, international trade, consultancy, or field operations
  • Strong analytical thinking and strategic decision-making skills
  • Experience in market research, partner scouting, and opportunity assessment in the Middle East
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills
  • No restriction for frequent domestic and international travel, including to field locations
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic, high-pressure environments

Job Description

  • Conducting market research and opportunity analysis in Syria and surrounding regions
  • Working closely with the Chairman of the Board and senior leadership to develop and implement regional growth strategies
  • Participating in field visits, stakeholder meetings, and coordination with local partners
  • Acting as a cultural and linguistic bridge in negotiations, meetings, and site engagements
  • Preparing and translating feasibility reports, executive summaries, and business proposals in both Arabic and English
  • Designing and supporting market entry strategies, partnership models, and investment approaches based on real-time field data
  • Following up on regional developments and identifying emerging opportunities or risks
