We are a leading distributor of electrical and industrial products, seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by interacting with existing customers.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales and sales administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently with supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to increase sales.
- Verify and enter customer orders, transfer orders to fulfillment, explain stock-outs and expected delivery dates.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales by suggesting related items and explaining features.
- Analyze customer buying history to improve sales performance.
- Develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
- Generate and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders.
- Monitor open customer order reports and act on open items.
- Maintain distribution system backorder report and customer notification.
- Provide industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
