Job Description

Position Summary:

The Sales Representative is responsible for growing our sales and market share by identifying and selling to existing and prospective customers/target accounts in Turkey. The role requires maximizing relationships with current distributors and direct customers, as well as building relationships with new customers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Grow top line sales in Turkey.
  2. Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns, and manage the day-to-day sales activities to deliver the sales strategy for the Region.
  3. Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
  4. Monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and create solutions.
  5. Adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the related sales team.
  6. Develop new customers in dedicated markets or areas, including start-ups.
  7. Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for the area of responsibility.
  8. Search for and create new business opportunities in accordance with business needs, possibilities, and capacity.
  9. New market development, OEMs, and new product introduction.
  10. Work closely with technical teams for trials and troubleshooting.
  11. Responsible for credit management.
  12. Stock management for local warehouses, executed according to Turkish Customs Clearance process.
  13. Complete required paperwork/reports in a timely manner, including but not limited to mileage tracking, expense reporting, etc.
  14. Attend local and non-local trainings as required (i.e. Sales Excellence).
Qualifications:Position Requirements:

Formal Education:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant Science subject.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Business Management.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Required: Minimum 7 years with minimum 2 years in direct sales to OEMs, distributors, contractors, architects in the wood industry.
  • Preferred: Experience gained within technical sales/markets in the coating industry.

Technical/Skill Requirements:

  • Dynamic and goal-oriented.
  • Turkish Native speaker.
  • Excellent in English (writing, reading, and speaking).
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to interface effectively with sales, technical, and manufacturing management.
  • Additional language is an advantage but not necessary.
