We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development (Sales) Manager to lead and expand our software sales initiatives. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in enterprise software sales, team leadership, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B software sales.
- Proven success in selling complex software solutions (e.g., SaaS, enterprise applications, cloud platforms).
- Experience managing and growing a sales team, preferably in a high-growth environment.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
- Ability to lead by example and inspire high performance.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to sales planning and execution.
- Capable of working cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority.
- Strong understanding of the software industry, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and articulate software value propositions.
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
- Resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Fluent Turkish and English
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sector-based sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing strategic direction and performance feedback.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships, with a focus on C-level stakeholders.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure for key strategic accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the customer base.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, pre-sales, and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Forecast sales performance metrics and report regularly to senior leadership.
- Drive adoption and upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
