Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for performing general office duties to support Sales & Marketing. This includes filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying, and preparing sales-related documents throughout the sales process.

Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. They will enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in software involved in the sales process.

The Sales Coordinator will also serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate group room reservations and related functions with in-house departments, affiliates, and outside group contacts.
  • Maintain ownership of group blocks, including pickup numbers, reservation methods, billing, and proper treatment of VIP guests.
  • Review group resumes and rooming lists to ensure accuracy and fulfill any special requests.
  • Be proficient in all areas of reservations and general operations of the hotel.
Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor degree in related major

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Qualifications: Fluency in Turkish & English, good computer skills.
