About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager/Sales Engineer to join our team in Bursa. In this role, you will be responsible for consulting with customers on coatings and applications, recommending products and services as necessary, and helping to develop new applications.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned accounts: Propose pricing strategies, prepare quotations, and negotiate contractual terms and conditions within company guidelines.
- Define and manage sales budgets and forecasts: Actively contribute to achieving key country targets.
- Establish relationships with decision-makers: Define account business profiles, key buying factors, and develop sales plans in conjunction with sales managers and segment/product managers.
- Consult with customers on coatings and applications: Analyze customer needs, technical specifications, and manage sampling/demonstration activities where applicable.
- SUPPORT LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR: Facilitate liaison and communication with the Metco organization, promoting general engineering market development.
- Provide feedback to relevant departments: Share customer insights, competitive information, and market trends.
- Identify prospects and acquire new accounts: Develop and implement strategies to expand customer base.
- Represent the company at trade shows and events: Attend industry seminars and conferences as necessary.
About You:
- MATERIALS OR MECHANICAL DEGREE: Relevant academic background.
- PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN SALES: Approximately 2 years of field experience in a similar environment.
- KNOWLEDGE OF THERMAL SPRAY COATING SOLUTIONS/INDUSTRY: A plus, but not required.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent English (verbal and written).
- PC TOOLS AND SOFTWARE: Proficient in MS-Office and SAP R3 (a plus).
- DRIVING LICENSE: Required for travel purposes.
- TRAVEL FREQUENCY: Willingness to travel is essential for this role.
