Education: University graduate engineer in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Control System Engineering.

Experience: 7-10 years

Reports to: Business Head

Industry: Industrial Automation, Capital Project Management, Machine Tool Suppliers, and related sectors

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
    • Drive business growth in Turkey, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to the Turkish market.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the automotive industry.
    • Achieve regional sales targets and provide regular updates on progress and project statuses.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams for proposal creation and project planning.
    • Ensure successful execution of sales and project deliverables.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Engage with customers during the entire project lifecycle (pre-sales, execution, and post-sales).
    • Provide technical consulting and solutions to customer needs, leveraging industry knowledge.
    • Manage key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
  3. Marketing and Visibility:
    • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand visibility.
    • Promote the company's capabilities and value propositions to attract new customers and partners.
  4. Network Expansion:
    • Develop relationships with agents and associates across Turkey to extend market reach and ensure geographical coverage.
    • Leverage strong network within the automotive industry for business development and market insights.
    • Cultivate partnerships with reliable suppliers and ensure smooth supplier relationships.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  5. Compliance & Legal:
    • Stay well-informed about Turkish laws, taxation, and regulations relevant to business operations.
    • Ensure all transactions and operations comply with local legal and tax requirements.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong network within the automotive industry in Turkey.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take on responsibility and challenges.
  • Proficient in English communication (written and spoken).
  • Knowledgeable in legal, commercial terms, and basic automation engineering.

Other:

  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with headquarters in India and local offices in Turkey.
  • Experience with developing and executing business strategies in the automotive sector.

Skills Preferred:

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of automation and engineering products.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relations.
  • Market Intelligence: Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities in the Turkish automotive industry.
