
Sales and Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Supervisor to join our team at Altium Türkiye. This role will be responsible for setting and achieving sales targets in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Conduct market and customer analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing pharmaceutical customers across all departments within pharmaceutical companies (R&D, QC, production, procurement, etc.).
- Understand customer needs and offer suitable analytical device solutions.
- Present technical features and applications of analytical devices to clients.
- Assist customers with device selection, configuration, and proposal preparation.
- Provide guidance on the use of devices in pharmaceutical applications.
- Prepare and present quotations to customers.
- Manage sales agreements and conduct negotiations.
- Follow up on post-sales processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in trainings, seminars, and trade fairs to represent the company.
- Regularly report sales activities and results.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, providing insights to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from reputable universities in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering departments.
- Experience in sales or technical support within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of analytical devices (e.g., HPLC, GC, MS).
- Proficiency in English (for documentation and international collaboration).
- Previously worked in a pharmaceutical company and has comprehensive knowledge of all its departments (preferred).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently handle the sales process and customer relationships.
- Understanding customer needs and building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Willingsness to learn about new products and technologies.
