
Business Development Specialist

In the position of Business Development Specialist, you will be supporting business development activities by identifying inefficiencies, reviewing policies, and creating strategies to enhance the operations. Consulting responsibilities where the specialist provides advice to clients. Engage in a new range of sales activities including analyzing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with bottler teams, and supporting the sales team. Responsible for business analytics within the region, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and alignment of data. Maintain the scorecards (bottler ranking) within the assigned territory and develop and prepare presentations for the Sales Management Team for both internal and external use.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret internal and external international market data to identify inefficiencies and provide actionable insights. Conduct detailed analyses of company and competitor's SKUs and channels, focusing on tactical assessments and preparing daily and monthly reports.
- Organize and streamline monthly internal sales and forecast data to deliver current and forward‐looking analyses. Track, own, and manage the demand and supply planning processes by coordinating data flow between the commercial and operations teams on a monthly and bi‐weekly basis, ensuring alignment and accuracy.
- Research and evaluate new business opportunities, including new product performance, channel coverage opportunities, bottler and customer performance (e.g. cooler placement results), c‐store results and key account scorecard preparation.
- Co‐lead and support new product development processes by ensuring the completion of preliminary financial analyses and adhering to process timelines for on‐time delivery.
- Collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders to align on deliverables with timelines, address system needs, and drive process improvements as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field of study is preferred.
- Between 1‐3 years of experience in sales, trade marketing, business development or planning experience is desired.
- Between 1‐3 years of experience in Fast‐moving consumer goods industry is advantageous.
- Computer Skills Desired: Advanced user of Microsoft Office.
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Power BI, business management tools.
