Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Specialist in Istanbul to join our Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service global product group. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling Grid Integration solutions (HV/MV substations, Power Quality, e-mobility etc.) in accordance with Business Unit strategy and will report to Marketing and Sales Manager for Türkiye.

Responsibilities

  1. Sales Performance: Achieve sales performance targets for assigned Operating Unit/Business Units/Product Groups.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs and promote customer understanding of full product/systems/services offering.
  3. Sales Planning and Execution: Prepare sales plans using company tools and execute sales strategies to achieve volume, mix, business model, and profitability targets.
  4. Add Value: Create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy by ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals.
  5. Market Development: Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designate market.
  6. Customer Analysis: Analyze customers and projects and prepare necessary inputs/documentation for "Go / No Go" & "Bid / No Bid" decisions.

Requirements

  • A technical background with a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred;
  • At least 3 years of experience as Sales in a similar market; experience in High Voltage Systems and/or Power Quality Solutions is a plus;
  • Strong Communication and negotiation skills to develop and manage customer relationships;
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with knowledge of working within process;
  • Excellent command of English and Turkish language both written and verbal;
  • Availability to travel inside Türkiye and abroad where having a valid driving license.
