Overview

The Sales Leader is a customer-focused professional with exceptional product knowledge and visual presentation skills. They implement and adhere to store business plans, ensuring operational processes are executed in collaboration with the Store Manager and team. This role requires strong interpersonal skills for building rapport through customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities
  1. Leads and supports customer-centric sales strategies across in-store and online channels.
  2. Promotes a customer-obsessed culture that prioritizes effective selling behaviors, including Greeting, Re-engaging, Educating, Adding on, and Thanking each customer.
  3. Understands their role in driving sales growth and contributing to store profitability.
  4. Demonstrates interpersonal savvy by reading cues and responding appropriately to every customer, creating an exceptional in-store experience.
  5. Educates customers on loyalty programs, current promotions, and merchandise assortment to support basket building.
  6. Serves as a brand ambassador at all times, treating customers and colleagues with respect and professionalism while upholding company goals.
  7. Leads by example, supports, and holds the team accountable to all company policies and procedures.
  8. Executes Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures, team supervision, and other duties as needed.
  9. Assists with freight processing, maintaining an organized stockroom, executing merchandise presentation directives, pricing, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
  2. Minimum 1 year management experience in retail or service industry.
  3. Strong communication and customer selling skills required.
  4. Energetic, people-oriented, competitive, and driven to succeed.
  5. Valid Driver license.
  6. Ability to handle and transport company funds.
  7. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  9. Able to read and interpret company directives, handbook, and manuals.
  10. Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  11. Independence and teamwork skills.
  12. Ability to ascend/descend ladders, frequently move products, stand, and move around the store.
