Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Devotion Interactive. As a key member of our publishing services team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business by identifying and securing partnerships with game studios and discovering exciting games for our publishing portfolio.
Your Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential game studios and developers for partnerships to drive growth and revenue.
- Evaluate new games with promising potential for publishing opportunities to expand our portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers to foster long-term collaboration and mutual success.
- Analyze market trends and conduct competitive research to identify high-growth opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to connect with potential partners and build valuable relationships.
- Pitch Devotion Interactive's publishing services to game studios and developers to secure new partnerships and grow our business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess games for market fit, quality, and monetization potential to ensure successful project execution.
- Negotiate publishing agreements and contracts with developers to protect our interests and secure favorable terms.
- Track and report on business development activities, including pipeline updates and progress toward targets to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field in the gaming industry with a track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of the video game publishing landscape, market trends, and industry practices to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both written and spoken English to effectively collaborate with developers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team to achieve common goals.
- Passion for video games and a deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with international teams is a plus to expand our reach and growth.
