Job Overview

  • Draft and Update Engagement Letters: Prepare and update engagement letters according to the sector and make adjustments based on client requests.
  • Client Communication: Share engagement letters with clients and edit them based on their feedback.
  • Team Coordination: Remind Partners/Attorneys to ensure engagement letters are sent on time.
  • Template Updates: Keep engagement letter templates up to date and ensure the accuracy of the language used.

Key Responsibilities

  • CV Updates: Prepare and update CVs to match the proposals being sent.
  • Research and Conflict Checks: Conduct research and run conflict checks using the system or on the web and present results to Partners.
  • CRM Management: Record proposals in the CRM system and follow up on them.
  • Brochure and Material Review: Ensure that the firm's brochures and materials are appropriate for the proposal being sent.
  • Proposal Process Management: Ensure there are no disruptions in the proposal process in the absence of the Business Development Manager.
  • Proposal Format Control: Check that the proposal format complies with the standards of the receiving department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in business development and the legal sector.
  • Expertise in client management and business development processes.
  • Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and business development tools.

About You

  • You will be responsible for managing the business development process from start to finish.
  • You will work closely with the Partners and Attorneys to ensure seamless communication and efficient execution of tasks.
