Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and tactics. This role requires a strong understanding of the luxury hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the resort by maintaining effective relationships with resort colleagues.
  2. Support the corporate office on promotional sales drives.
  3. Attend meetings and training as required by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  4. Responsible for key account management on an assigned account base or geographic area, ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing fair market share versus competitor set.
  5. Responsible for prospecting new accounts.
  6. Conduct site inspections.
  7. Follow up of tentative bookings in the assigned markets.
  8. Responsible for timely contracting from the client base.
  9. Attend trade shows, sales blitz, workshops, etc. in the assigned markets.
  10. Assist the Sales team in defining an annual sales action plan, execute set actions accordingly and with the preparation of the annual budget by providing statistics and forecasts of account productions.
  11. Update OPERA contact database at all times.
  12. Understand and follow the Company Sales Vision.
  13. Sell all facets of the resort.
  14. Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market.
  15. Assist in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities.
  16. Analyze sales mix and likely impact on resort goals.
  17. Increase business volume during difficult periods.
  18. Produce monthly Sales reports and forecasts.
  19. Perform any additional duties as requested by the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent command over written and spoken English and Turkish.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major.
  3. Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position in a luxury lifestyle brand.
  4. Knowledge of hotel/resort's policies regarding reservations, discounts and detailed procedures in handling local and overseas room bookings.
  5. Familiar with various hotel booking platforms, Opera, CRM, POS systems.
  6. Proficient in MS Office.
  7. Flexible with domestic and regional travel as required.
  8. Great attention to detail.
  9. Exceptional customer relationship skills.
  10. Excellent organizational skills.
  11. Energetic with a positive attitude.
