pladis is looking for Business Development Executive for our pladis Turkey, Business Development Directorate.
Who we are?
With production starting in a small shop in Nohutçu Han, Eminönü in 1944, Ülker has since grown to become the leading food company in Turkey and the region, with more than 300 brands, exports to more than 100 countries around the world, and successful overseas operations. Its wide range of products all share Ülker's values, with brands in categories including biscuits, cake, chocolate, candy, and gum. pladis was founded in 2016 as a subsidiary of Yıldız Holding, with the aim of ensuring synergy among the group's international snack brands and increasing its global competitiveness. Consolidating 300 years of experience in bakery products, chocolate, gum and candy, it is home to beloved, iconic brands such as Ülker, McVitie's and Godiva. With 25 factories in 11 countries, and a global workforce of 16,000 people in its operations in over 100 countries, pladis offers its consumers the highest quality products and services.
A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:
Responsibilities
- To analyze all pricing & sizing actions monthly according to standard and actual production costs and create an action plan,
- To plan monthly pricing and TPR & Trade budget usage,
- To determine priorities and ensure action is taken in order to increase profitability and net turnover specific to Channel, Brand, Region,
- To plan special projects based on Channel and Customer,
- To produce solutions to increase net turnover based on product according to channel and product mix changes,
- To translate Nielsen and Ipsos research results into action plans,
- To manage the delist process to ensure optimum SKU number in the portfolio,
- To manage all e-commerce processes to achieve sales and profitability targets,
- To provide leadership for the categories for which it is responsible by ensuring coordination between Sales Companies - Marketing - Financial Affairs in the annual budget process.
Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Preferably graduated from relevant departments of universities (Business, Economics, Engineering, Economic and Administrative Sciences, Marketing),
- Advanced level of English,
- Experienced in strategy creation and long-term planning,
- Experienced in Sales and Channel Management,
- Experienced in income-expense budgeting and analysis, ROI, profitability analysis,
- Knowledge and experience in business partnership management,
- Candidates with sufficient knowledge and experience about sector competition in the market are sought.
