
Customer Service Specialist, Minerals and Metallurgy

About the Role
The Customer Service Specialist plays a vital part in delivering exceptional customer experiences across the minerals industry. Reporting to the Sales Team, this role involves handling all aspects of customer inquiries, orders, and quotations with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing value propositions for each customer offer based on their needs and demands.
- Ensuring timely creation and processing of orders, as well as reviewing pending requests to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating with internal units to direct customer requests and respond promptly, while also reporting relevant data to customers and supervisors.
- Maintaining an organized filing system accessible to administrative and sales teams.
- Providing backup support to the Sales Team in all activities.
- Performing data entry tasks related to metrics, sales figures, and other key performance indicators.
- Handling all administrative duties for the sales department or team.
- Identifying and reporting any unusual activity to supervisors.
- Fostering healthy relationships through regular customer visits.
- Collaborating with finance, logistics, and warehouse units.
- Demonstrating proficiency in using ERP and CRM systems.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with local team members, customers, and the global internal team.
