Overview of the Job
The Vendor Consultant role offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with various internal teams at Amazon, focusing on optimizing the product line for key vendors. This position requires a unique blend of analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Your Primary Objectives
As a Vendor Consultant, your main objectives include:

  • Optimizing the product line for key vendors on Amazon.com
  • Engaging with multiple internal teams to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon
  • Conceiving, creating, and analyzing marketing and site merchandising efforts to enhance vendor visibility and revenue

Basic Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A thorough understanding of e-commerce principles and practices
  • 5+ years of experience in Vendor management, Sales, post sales, Account Management, and Business Development
  • Exposure to retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, or e-commerce is highly beneficial
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to manage business data effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
