About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager/Sales Engineer to join our team in Bursa. In this role, you will be responsible for consulting with customers on coatings and applications, recommending products and services as necessary, and helping to develop new applications.
Your Responsibilities:
- CUSTOMER CONSULTING: Provide expert advice on coatings and applications.
- ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: Manage assigned accounts, propose pricing strategies, and negotiate contractual terms and conditions.
- Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales plans in conjunction with sales managers and segment/product managers.
- LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR SUPPORT: Facilitate liaison and communication with the Metco organization, promoting general engineering market development.
- COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS: Provide feedback to relevant departments, sharing customer insights, competitive information, and market trends.
- NEW BUSINESS ACQUISITION: Identify prospects and develop strategies to expand customer base.
- EVENT REPRESENTATION: Represent the company at trade shows and events, attending industry seminars and conferences as necessary.
About You:
- MATERIALS OR MECHANICAL DEGREE: Relevant academic background.
- PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN SALES: Approximately 2 years of field experience in a similar environment.
- KNOWLEDGE OF THERMAL SPRAY COATING SOLUTIONS/INDUSTRY: A plus, but not required.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent English (verbal and written).
- PC TOOLS AND SOFTWARE: Proficient in MS-Office and SAP R3 (a plus).
- DRIVING LICENSE: Required for travel purposes.
- TRAVEL FREQUENCY: Willingness to travel is essential for this role.
