As a Global Business Development Manager at The British American Tobacco Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth strategy for the travel retail segment.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Global Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, increase market share, and improve profitability in the travel retail sector.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the global travel retail market, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, develop account plans, and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute global business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in the travel retail sector.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to develop and execute account plans and sales strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, marketing, or international trade.
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field, such as sales, marketing, or business development.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing revenue.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
