
Account Manager

The Account Manager is a crucial role in ADM's sales team, responsible for maintaining and expanding our customer base in Turkey and the Middle East. This position involves driving customer projects, building a solid project pipeline, and ensuring sustainable business results.
Main Responsibilities- Take ownership of Starches and Sweeteners customers in Turkey and the Middle East, including Key Accounts, distributors, and Food Customers.
- Develop innovative sales and marketing strategies within the geographical market to drive growth.
- Create and execute own sales plans, forecasts, and budgets based on market plans.
- Ensure ADM is well-positioned to participate in biddings and tenders.
- Manage strategic customers in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Control all sales activities with existing and potential customers.
- Establish and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Monitor the market and identify potential opportunities.
- Develop customer concepts in cooperation with commercial, technical service, product Managers, and application teams.
- Degree in food science and/or technology or business administration.
- Experience in the B2B food ingredients business, with a focus on customer-centric sales and go-to-market skills.
- Understanding of regional market landscape and dynamics.
- Strong technical sales abilities and good technical knowledge of products.
- Familiarity with the Starches and Sweeteners industry highly appreciated.
- Ability to travel within the country and region (20%).
- Result-driven and capable of building strong client relations.
- Team spirit, result-oriented, and strong communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a 'hunter' mentality.
- Ability to connect and work within an international matrix organization.
- Independent and structured work approach.
- Fluent in Turkish and English.
