We are seeking a talented Revenue Generation and Customer Engagement Expert to join our sales team at The Peninsula Istanbul. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic customer engagement and event planning.

Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and bookings. Collaborate with colleagues to promote the hotel's services and amenities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including social events, travel agencies, associations, corporate accounts, individual guests, and government associations.
  • Event Operations: Oversee event planning and execution, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences. Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate logistics and services.
  • Market Research and Intelligence: Conduct industry research to stay informed about market trends, competitor hotels, and emerging opportunities. Share valuable insights with colleagues to drive business development.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor hotels' occupancy rates, structural developments, promotions, and marketing efforts. Analyze event traffic among competitors to identify areas for improvement and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Timely complete all reports as requested by the Director of Banquet & Catering and/or Catering Sales Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury hotel sales or operational roles.
  • Proven track record in sales, with excellent command of spoken English.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
