About the Opportunity
">We are seeking a dynamic leader to drive our country operations as Managing Director. As part of our global organization, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining financial discipline.
">- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead and support the sales team in performance optimization and professional development.
- Directly manage relationships with key customers and OEMs.
- Ensure timely reporting to global management and align inventory planning with customer needs.
- Oversee product lifecycle management, including phase-out of discontinued products.
- Provide technical training to internal teams and customers.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and collaborate with global product management.
- Optimize cash flow, credit control, and financial risk management.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
">- 12+ years of experience in B2B sales of industrial equipment, preferably in industrial drive solutions, motion control, automation, or related industries.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial); an MBA is a plus.
- Proven expertise in managing multi-functional teams, including sales, finance, assembly, customer service, and operations.
- Strong background in P&L management, budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
- Experience in leading key account management and OEM relationships.
- Ability to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive revenue and margin growth.
- Experience working with multinational companies, ensuring alignment with global business strategies.
- Familiarity with SAP and CRM systems.
- Hands-on leadership skills with a long-term vision.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills for high-level customer and stakeholder engagement.
- Results-driven with problem-solving abilities and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including tact, discretion, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
- Proficiency in written and verbal German is a strong plus.
