About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic leader to drive our country operations as Managing Director. As part of our global organization, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining financial discipline.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead and support the sales team in performance optimization and professional development.
  • Directly manage relationships with key customers and OEMs.
  • Ensure timely reporting to global management and align inventory planning with customer needs.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including phase-out of discontinued products.
  • Provide technical training to internal teams and customers.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and collaborate with global product management.
  • Optimize cash flow, credit control, and financial risk management.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 12+ years of experience in B2B sales of industrial equipment, preferably in industrial drive solutions, motion control, automation, or related industries.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial); an MBA is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in managing multi-functional teams, including sales, finance, assembly, customer service, and operations.
  • Strong background in P&L management, budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
  • Experience in leading key account management and OEM relationships.
  • Ability to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive revenue and margin growth.
  • Experience working with multinational companies, ensuring alignment with global business strategies.
  • Familiarity with SAP and CRM systems.
  • Hands-on leadership skills with a long-term vision.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for high-level customer and stakeholder engagement.
  • Results-driven with problem-solving abilities and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including tact, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal German is a strong plus.
