
Sales Leader for Technology Consulting Growth

Job Overview
OBSS is seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to drive business growth in technology consulting. This role requires a strong background in sales leadership, client engagement, and business development within the technology or consulting sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Own the sales function for Technology Consulting Services, setting and achieving sales targets across multiple industry sectors. Focus on building and expanding the sales pipeline, ensuring revenue growth through strategic client engagement.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets. Work with senior business leaders to expand relationships with key clients and establish long-term partnerships.
- Client Engagement: Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and proposing OBSS's solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies, forecasts, and plans to achieve revenue goals. Drive account-based selling strategies to ensure deep penetration into key accounts.
- Pre-sales Ownership: Lead the pre-sales process, including creating proposals, presentations, and solution roadmaps that align with the client's business objectives.
- Negotiation and Deal Closing: Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring alignment with OBSS's business objectives while closing deals and meeting revenue targets. Focus on cross-selling and up-selling to maximize client value.
- Thought Leadership: Represent OBSS at industry events and conferences, elevating the company's profile as a leader in technology consulting—leverage industry expertise to contribute to the company's market positioning.
Requirements
- At Least 15 Years of Experience: In client management, with a track record of driving value and leading teams, complemented by a strong consulting background.
- Proven Sales Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading sales teams or initiatives in a technology consulting or services environment, focusing on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Client-Centric Approach: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels, especially senior executives, to identify their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Business Development Expertise: Extensive experience in business development, driving growth by identifying and cultivating new opportunities and deepening existing client relationships.
- Consultative Selling: Skilled at selling complex solutions by aligning technology offerings with client business goals and delivering value-driven proposals.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiator with experience leading complex deals from start to close, ensuring alignment with company goals while delivering value to clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working with clients across sectors such as financial services, retail, telecoms, energy, and life sciences, with an understanding of the business challenges these industries face.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically, translate business goals into sales strategies, and guide teams to deliver long-term success.
