Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Türkiye. As a key member of our Coatings and Adhesives Resins department, you will be responsible for planning and executing sales activities to achieve business targets.

Your primary focus will be on managing and developing customer relationships that align with our growth strategies. You will establish a comprehensive business/sales strategy/market research approach through cross-business line synergies.

In addition to regular business development, you will evaluate and support M&A opportunities, joint ventures, toll-producing agreements across all business lines. Your role will also involve aligning growth strategies with regional teams, key account managers, country heads, and regional business development.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy and Execution
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets.
    • Frequent visits to customers, entering visit reports into the CRM system in a timely manner.
    • Prepare and follow up on customer proposals, entering pricing negotiations, evaluating and providing updated pricing information.
    • Maintain profit levels according to company guidelines and pricing matrices.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and develop positive relationships with customers and distributors in assigned regions.
    • Proactively identify customer needs and sales opportunities, preparing and following up on customer proposals.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting
    • Monitor major industry developments, map stakeholders and market segments of core interest.
    • Analyze and evaluate data concerning political and economic trends, local/regional development, competition, peer situation, and marketing/sales processes.
    • Establish and manage access to key players involved, setting up initial sales processes in newly created business cases.
Requirements
  • University degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing and/or sales, with proven performance results.
  • Profound understanding of financial and marketing techniques used to evaluate projects/products/markets.
  • Strong technical background, able to engage in technical discussions with accounts/partners regarding application areas.
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills, a team player with personal initiative.
