About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Development Officer to join our team at WeFreight. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our services within the Indonesian market, focusing on generating new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and driving revenue and gross profit to meet monthly and annual targets.

This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who can identify and capitalize on opportunities, contributing directly to our sales objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Commercial Development:
    • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
    • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-up with leads and conversion into revenue-generating business.
  2. Customer Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and customer retention.
    • Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
    • Negotiate terms and pricing with customers, adhering to company guidelines while maximizing profitability.
  3. Market Analysis:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform commercial strategies.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding market opportunities and challenges.
    • Contribute to the development of broader business strategies by gathering and sharing market intelligence.
  4. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure customer needs are met and service levels are maintained.
    • Participate in joint commercial efforts and identify cross-border business opportunities to enhance network performance.
    • Share market intelligence and leads with colleagues in other regions to support company-wide growth.
