About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join F5 Networks, Inc. as a Major Account Manager, focusing on customers within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of how technology can enable business goals or overcome challenges, excellent negotiation and closing skills, strong solution-selling and presentation abilities, and a client-interfacing and customer-focused approach.
The Major Account Manager will be responsible for managing all facets of relationships with large key accounts, ensuring revenue goals are met, and maintaining contact at relevant levels within the accounts.
This individual contributor role is a quota-carrying position that involves building and maintaining relationships effectively, communicating at all levels, developing opportunities across the F5 solution portfolio, and selling solutions and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence and build trusting relationships.
The responsibilities include being the primary point-of-contact for major accounts in the BFSI sector, maintaining high-level executive relationships, selling products or services to named accounts, expanding and retaining named accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service, identifying long-term and short-term business opportunities, and proactively addressing competitive threats.
