ELDS Sales & Solutions Manager

Your role and responsibilities

We seek a Sales Channel Manager who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB Office located in Maltepe Istanbul-Turkiye. The responsibilities include:

  1. Defining and implementing the Sales & Marketing strategies together with Product Marketing and other Sales teams, in line with Business Area & Line Strategies for all segments.
  2. Ensuring regular follow-up on strategies, financial and non-financial KPIs with targeted leads in the Region.
  3. Defining and generating good relations with key customers in the responsible countries and developing the business along with ABB product/solution portfolio.
  4. Defining key targets (e.g., volume, prices, mix) and ensuring these are achieved for all segments.
  5. Ensuring detailed business plans with regular follow-up are in place.
  6. Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions for segment-specific big end-user accounts as account manager, or assigning account manager within the organization.
  7. Conducting demand creation activities and directing the scope, technical specification, and solution architecture of the investments in close coordination with the technical promotion and consultancy team.
  8. Contributing to critical sales and key frame agreements negotiations.
  9. Coordinating sales and marketing efforts and pricing policies that require channel/segment partner participation.
  10. Ensuring appropriate communication, promotion, and training activities in all segments.
  11. Supporting the driving of strategic partnerships, developing personal relationships with partners, customers, and other decision-makers.
  12. Monitoring client financial status and reporting any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams.
  13. Identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels/segments.
  14. Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
  15. Coaching, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
  16. Driving and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
  17. Keeping all activities in Salesforce.com and following up financial and non-financial KPIs via this tool.
Qualifications for the role
  • Electrical Engineering or equivalent university degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and sales.
  • Good technical knowledge in the field of MV subcomponents (i.e., Protection relays, Circuit Breakers, Reclosers, Vacuum Interrupters, etc.).
  • Experience in Distribution Utility tenders.
  • Experience in generating distributors.
  • Experience in contractual negotiations.
  • Turkish and English are a must.
  • Good communication skills both externally and internally with customers.
  • Ability to generate connections with main customers and develop key long-term partnerships.
